Of course The Murder bothers me.

I was lucky. My abuser more-or-less gave up. After awhile, anyhow. But after all these years, when my almost-grown children still want to have parental discussions about the nature of power and reminders about what personal power they do have when their father 'blows', the topic still upsets me.
